No need to do anything with Malcolm. Goalies take a long time to develop and having Malcolm spend another year or two in the minors as the starting goalie is the way to go. This new kid McIntrye will probably get the longest look as the B's back up this year, or he could spend a year in the minors splitting time with Subban. Its a great situation to be in for the B's having a stud goalie in the NHL (Rask) and 2 potential studs in the system with plenty of time to develop.

Now all you have to do is sign Hamilton....and ditch some of those bad contracts.

Providence is going to have an excellent 1-2 punch in net this upcoming season assuming subban sticks around.

On another note, it doesnt look like there will be a contract for Dougie before free agency hits. According to this article I found, it appears the team is willing to match up to 7 million on an offer sheet. Yikes.

Here is the link to what I read.

On a different note. Who does everyone like with the 14th overall pick?

Great signing, glad to see it happen. As mentioned, goalies take a long time to develop so keeping Zane and Malcom in Providence for another year or so is ideal. Let them compete for the backup spot in 2017, and eventually try to steal the starter role from Tuukka, as Tuukka did from Thomas.

If crouse is still available at 14 I would be shocked. I wouldnt mind Meier. Also wouldnt mind Connor.

My bet is that Neely wants a big player. So it will probably be Meier, Bittner or another large bodied player.

I hope Crouse is still available.

1) He would fit in so well.

2) Fatmarsh can suck it.

We need a more experienced backup than Jeremy Smith. Svedberg wasn't good enough last year and I don't see how smith will be any better. I think Greiss, Gustavsson, Emery can all be had for somewhere in the region of 1 million via free agency.

I have werenski pegged to be drafted by the Avs. But, you never know. I think we will be getting a good player no matter what unless they decide to go way off the board.

Button's mock draft has the Bruins drafting Barzal.

That would be an absolute steal.

Button is a clown...

But if we get Barzal at our spot I will absolutely shat myself.

After the surprise of Pasta last year would be great to see another good pick and start to load the prospect cupboard again. With guys like Koko and Spoons and maybe Morrow making the jump next year they need to infuse again.

Watched the video, and I agree with everything said. He isn't Doughty (Yet anyways) and is 21 years old. He should be more than willing to do a 2 year 8-9 million, or 3 year 15 million. And Boston has that money to sign him to that, I don't see what is taking so long for Sweeney to get that done, unless they are playing hardball or Hamilton is being greedy (which I don't believe is his character)...

If he signs for that, he will receive his payday when both his and Chara's contracts are up.

Sign him for hopefully 4 million this year, and spend the remaining space to get Spooner, Connoly and Pasta under contract. Then 4 million space comes along in October for some play room. Or actually, hold off on the kids because they can't demand much and aren't going anywhere, and try to sign a backup goalie or another defender (Macquaid) in the meantime? Maybe I think they have more money than they do. But, I think I am fairly accurate...

I was only "half serious" but I have inquired before. I used to have a fantasy sports blog but stopped after a bit because took a new job that got a little too insane and the extra blogging money wasn't worth it at the time.

I would like to get back into it, either solely on the Bruins, NHL in general or still to what I know best, which is Fantasy.
